Sub processors
Last updated: June 25, 2026
To provide Postbuddy, we rely on a small number of trusted third-party service providers (“subprocessors”) that process data on our behalf. We use them only to deliver the service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
1. Our subprocessors
The table below lists the subprocessors we currently use, what they do, and where they primarily process data.
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Cloud hosting & application platform — serves the website and API, and stores generated/uploaded media (Vercel Blob). | United States |
| Supabase | Managed PostgreSQL database — stores your account, content, schedules and settings. | EU / United States (by project region) |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery — account, security and notification emails (e.g. password resets). | United States |
| Google LLC (Gemini API) | AI language & image models — generate post copy, research summaries, suggestions and some graphics from the inputs we send. | United States |
| fal.ai | AI image-generation infrastructure — produces the original graphics and visuals that accompany your posts. | United States |
| Tavily | Web research API — retrieves public web results used to surface trends for your niche. | United States |
| Social platform APIs (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Meta — Facebook & Instagram — and TikTok) | Publish content and read engagement under the permissions you explicitly grant during connection. | Global |
2. What we share, and what we don’t
We share with these providers only the data needed to perform their function — for example, sending your post text to an AI provider so it can return a suggested image or caption. We do not sell your data. Where a provider offers controls, we opt out of having your private account content used to train their public models.
3. International transfers
Some subprocessors may process data outside your country. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms).
4. Changes & notice
We may add or replace subprocessors as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and customers under a Data Processing Agreement may request advance notice of, or object to, new subprocessors. To be notified of changes, email privacy@postbuddy.com.
