Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you can and cannot do with Postbuddy. It applies to everyone who uses the service and forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Your responsibility
You are responsible for all activity in your account and for the content you create, schedule and publish through Postbuddy — including content generated with AI assistance. You must comply with all applicable laws and with the terms and policies of every social platform you connect and post to (including LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Meta/Facebook, Instagram and TikTok).
2. Prohibited content
You must not use Postbuddy to create, schedule, publish or distribute content that:
- Is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.
- Infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights.
- Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or discrimination.
- Is sexually explicit, exploits minors, or is otherwise obscene.
- Contains malware, phishing links, or attempts to compromise others’ security.
- Promotes illegal goods or services, or violates applicable advertising and disclosure rules.
- Constitutes spam, or coordinated inauthentic or manipulative behaviour.
- Impersonates any person or organisation, or misrepresents your affiliation.
- Knowingly spreads false information that may cause public harm.
3. Prohibited conduct
When using Postbuddy you must not:
- Access accounts, data or platforms you are not authorised to use.
- Connect a social account you do not own or are not permitted to manage.
- Circumvent, disable or interfere with security or rate-limiting features.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code or models, except as permitted by law.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the service to third parties except through our intended multi-brand/agency features.
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages or to violate anti-spam laws.
- Overload or disrupt our infrastructure or that of the connected platforms.
- Use automated means to abuse AI generation beyond fair, intended use.
4. Platform rules
Each connected platform has its own developer and community policies. Misuse of Postbuddy that breaches those policies may cause the platform to suspend your account or revoke our access. You agree not to use Postbuddy in any way that would cause us to violate a platform’s terms.
5. AI features
The restrictions above apply equally to content created with our AI tools. See our AI Transparency page for how AI works and your responsibilities as the author.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or restrict features — with or without notice — to protect Postbuddy, our users, or third parties, or to comply with law. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
7. Reporting abuse
To report content or conduct that violates this policy, email privacy@postbuddy.com or use our Contact page.
